Learn to sail with Academy Sailing. Based in Burnham-on-Crouch, we are within easy reach of London by direct train - just minutes’ walk to the marina.​

Start your sailing adventures with either a 1-Day Sailing Taster, or gain an RYA qualification as RYA Competent Crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper.

We also run Skipper and Crew Refresher Courses, and Summer South Coast Adventure Sailing Holidays - perfect for milebuilding or simply enjoying time on the water.

All courses and holidays are delivered by experienced, friendly RYA Yachtmaster instructors, with a strong focus on confidence, safety and enjoyment.

EARLY BOOKING FOR 2027

​

We’ll be running a smaller programme of courses in 2027, as Dream Odyssey will be spending more of the season cruising from Devon and Cornwall. We have therefore opened our 2027 course dates earlier than usual, giving customers the opportunity to secure one of the limited places with a £25 pre-booking payment.

We will not be asking for, or accepting, the usual £275 deposit until November 2026.
